About the Safe Conflict Project

Because Human Life is Meant to be Protected...

WAR ZONES are chaotic and dangerous, and efforts to end war are fragmented and uncoordinated. Forces of war are politically and economically unified, while forces for peace are spread out and divided.

Although the pain of war is concentrated in zones of acute injustice and violence, it spreads everywhere in the form of poverty, disease, and lost opportunity. The Institute of Economics and Peace calculates that the annual global peace dividend (if the world is without war) would be over $8 trillion. That's over $200 for every person (a lot for people living on a dollar a day).

THE SAFE CONFLICT PROJECT supports existing forces of peace with practical analysis and business methods to “produce peace”. Using this effective production model, the SCP empowers existing peace professionals to collaborate for results, which means safer families and a foundation for life. The SCP also enables political power for peace efforts through technologies and innovation.

TOP THREE PROGRAMS:

· SYNERGIZERS: 3-day meetings of peace professionals and “peace allies”, a ‘Synergizer’ s a uniquely successful process to allow powerful cooperative projects to emerge among participants.

· SAFE CONFLICT PROJECTS: peace projects the SCP “produces” from Synergizers with follow-up, timelines, analysis, metrics and administrative support, much like a movie producer.

· CIVIC ACTION PLATFORMS: media and technology innovations and collaborations to unify and amplify the voice of people who want safety globally. Allows ordinary people to participate in creating peace and support people suffering in war zones.

THREE major groups coordinated by the Safe Conflict Project:

Professional peacemakers are set up with meetings, collaborations, contacts and administrative support. Their one goal is safe conflict to people in war zones and a foundation of safety for every person. Their increased resource produces faster peace
and humane treatment to war torn communities.

To get the most out of every dollar given, the SCP collaborates with thousands of organizations and shares resources with several large organizations.

The last group is people like you and me, who want to do something if given a chance to directly participate, locally and globally.

Close partners include the Conflict Transformation Collaborative, Four Years Go, and the Alliance for Peacebuilding. SCP actively seeks philanthropic partnerships to increase program capacity for this vital mission.
